Monika is a senior associate in the Privacy and Cybersecurity team at Dentons, based in the London office. She is qualified as a barrister and commercial litigator. Monika has advised governments; research institutions; universities and private sector companies, including in the Technology, Fintech, Biotech, Aviation and Space sectors. Monika is experienced in advising on and managing large-scale data privacy projects and cross-jurisdictional advice on a range of issues including GDPR compliance, direct marketing, cookies and other ad-tech, joint controllership issues and has particular expertise in cyber incident response. Monika has a specialist interest in advising on the development and deployment of artificial intelligence systems.
She holds both CIPP/E and CIPM qualifications from the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP).
